Description

Our Thread Protectors are machined from your choice of stainless steel or chromoly and available in a variety of thread sizes and pitch. They are CNC machined from bar stock and single point threaded. They are also available as blanks that can be fitted to barrels by any experienced gunsmith. The cylinder length is finished at a nominal length of 3/4″. This covers most threaded muzzles and extends past slightly to give the appearance of a counterbored, “Hunter” crown.

When fitted here at LRI we add a slot feature to the front of the ring. This is for easy installation and removal. The back of a small pocketknife works well as a tool for this. Thread sizes available are listed. Custom sizes are also available.
